Kildare!   They say you live and learn – well, in this case you can eat and learn at the deluxe 4-star Westgrove Hotel! As entertaining at home seems to be the new going out, the stylish Exchange Plus Restaurant in the Westgrove Hotel in Clane, Co. Kildare is hosting a series of themed cookery demonstration evenings, allowing you to enjoy a night’s dining as well as descriptions, demonstrations, tips and recipes to recreate the experience in your own kitchen and impress your guests.   Executive Chef Barry Hayden is hosting Chef’s Secrets, a series of three themed cookery demonstration nights on the last Wednesday of every month. Guests come to the Exchange Plus, watch the Chef prepare each dish while he talks everyone through starters, mains & desserts, and after each course is shown, they sit down and enjoy each one!   Having been cooking for over 17 years, and a winner of over 30 medals to date in international competitions, Barry combines his passion for cooking with his energy and enthusisam for teaching and coaching younger chefs, skills that ideally suit these new demonstration nights.   Chef’s Secrets will be hosted by Barry and his team on the last Wednesday night of each month with the evening’s activities starting at 7.30 p.m. Competitively priced at €49 for the entire evening including wine, or just €45 per person for parties of six or more or if participants sign up to two of the next three evenings. And for those who would like to prolong the enjoyment, the Westgrove Hotel has a room-only residential rate of just €49. Category: blog Tags:
