Diarmuid Gavin Wedding Garden Celebration

We asked ourselves ‘How can we make a couple's Wedding Day even more special?' We already provide a truly lovely wedding venue in Kildare with beautifully dressed reception rooms, excellent food and unheard of attention to detail. The layout of the hotel has proved to be ideal for weddings with guests meeting in the Cigar Bar for drinks and happily mingling on the adjacent roof terrace while waiting for the arrival of the bride and groom who were busy being photographed elsewhere. Then it came to us - why not make this already popular area the focal point for the wedding celebration - a place to meet, chat, have drinks, but also a place where the bride and groom could have photographs taken without leaving their guests or missing any of the fun?


The space naturally lends itself to gardens but who would do it justice? Only one name came to mind and we were determined to follow through. Fast forward to some months later and the seeds are sown - literally - for the launch of Diarmuid Gavin's Romantic Wedding Garden at the Westgrove Hotel in Summer 2009.


So imagine you and your partner, your family and friends enjoying verdant groves of trees rustling around you.... being led through the space by a series of contemporary wooden arches...... experiencing a sense of journey as you progress along the paved Portuguese limestone floor inlaid with petal mosaics....until you reach a wooden pavilion which provides focus, shelter and a lovely backdrop for photos. The whole space works beautifully to provide both a meeting place for guests and a private garden. It works in any weather and is the perfect rooftop oasis - a magical setting for an inspirational celebration.


We are delighted to have secured Diarmuid Gavin's expert services to create this very special space - we know Diarmuid's work will be the icing on the cake for an already exceptional offering at the Westgrove Wedding Hotel in County Kildare when it opens this Summer.
