When are final numbers required?

Final guest numbers must be confirmed 2 weeks prior to your wedding date.

What is the payment schedule?

Once the initial deposit of €3000 is paid, the following payment schedule applies:

6 months prior to the wedding 50% of your balance is due

3 months prior to the wedding 75% of your balance is due

2 weeks prior to the wedding 100% of your balance is due. This payment will include full guest count, any bedrooms you have added to your bill, and any extra costs you have added to your wedding.

When is the final balance due?

The outstanding balance is due 2 weeks before your wedding.

Can we pay our wedding bill in instalments?

Yes, we’re happy to offer flexible payment options, and you may make payments at any time leading up to your wedding. Your coordinator will provide a receipt once funds have been received into the hotel’s account.

To ensure everything runs smoothly, we do ask that the following payment milestones are met:

  • 50% of the total balance paid 6 months prior to your wedding
  • 75% paid 3 months prior
  • Full balance settled no later than 2 weeks before your wedding

What happens if we have cancellations after our final balance has been paid?

We completely understand that sometimes last-minute changes can happen. Once your final guest numbers are confirmed 14 days before your wedding, these are the numbers we prepare and cater for, and they become the minimum number charged.

If any guests are unable to attend after this point, they will still be included in the final balance, as everything will have already been organised in advance for your day.

Should the wedding couple be included in the final guest numbers?

Yes, the wedding couple should be included in the final guest numbers. This ensures accurate catering & seating.

What time is the ceremony?

Ceremony time is typically 2:00pm (timings may vary for weddings between October – April)

What is the typical timeline for the day?

2:00pm – Ceremony

3:00pm – Drinks reception

5:00pm – Call to dinner

5:45pm – Grand entrance of the couple & dinner service begins

When do speeches take place?

Speeches are scheduled after dinner.

What time does music finish?

Music concludes at 1:30am.

What time is the residents’ bar open until?

The residents’ bar is available in your banqueting suite until 4:00am.

Who do I email / call if I have any questions?

Your wedding coordinators are available to you at all times during office hours. Please feel free to call or email if you have any questions.

Can I arrange an in-person meeting with my wedding coordinator?

Yes, your wedding coordinator is always happy to meet with you in person during office hours.

Is there a special rate for wedding guests?

Yes, a reduced wedding rate is available for your guests.

How many rooms are held at the discounted rate?

Please refer to your wedding contract for full details.

How do guests book rooms within our wedding block?

Guests can contact reception on 045 989 900 and quote your name & wedding date or the booking code provided by your wedding coordinator.

When can we access the bridal suite?

The bridal suite is available from 3:00pm on the day of your wedding.

What are check-in and check-out times?

Check-in: 3:00pm

Check-out: 12:00pm

Can guests request early check-in?

Early check-in is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Is breakfast included?

Yes, breakfast is included in the wedding guest rate.

What happens if we don’t book all of the rooms on our wedding block?

These rooms are released 1 month prior to your wedding at no cost to you.

Can I stay in the hotel the night before?

Yes, please arrange with your wedding coordinator.

Can I see who has booked a room for our wedding?

Yes, you can request a rooming list from your coordinator.

Can I add on more rooms to our wedding block?

Yes however they are subject to availability - please speak with your wedding coordinator.

Do you offer children’s menus?

Yes, our children’s menu includes:

Soup (Starter)

Chicken Goujons & Chips/Mash Potato or Sausages & Chips/Mash Potato (Main Course) 

Selection of Ice Cream (Dessert) 

 

Are babysitting services available?

Whilst the hotel does not provide a babysitting service, we can recommend one to you.

Do we need to provide meals for our suppliers?

We recommend providing meals for any suppliers, if they stay into the evening. Supplier meals are usually served in the hotel bar and, with your approval, can be added to your room bill for payment on checkout.

What time should I tell our band to arrive?

We recommend liaising directly with your band; however, arrival is typically after speeches.

What time does the band start and finish?

This will depend on when your speeches finish; however, typically the band will start at circa 9.30pm with the DJ finishing at 1.30am.

Can the finish time for the band be extended?

Unfortunately, there is no amplified music allowed after 1.30am.

Do you provide background music during dinner?

Yes.

Can we display a slide show during dinner?

Yes. Please provide both a USB Key and a link to your slideshow in advance.

Do you provide a floor plan of the banqueting suite?

Yes, please request from your wedding coordinator.

Do you print the table plan?

Yes, the hotel will print and display your table plan.

How many guests can we put at each table?

We have 5 tables that can each accommodate up to 11 guests, and the remaining tables can each accommodate up to 8 guests in your banqueting suite.

Do you provide table numbers?

Yes the hotel will provide you with table numbers.

What options do we have for our Top Table layout?

We have four top table layout’s available:

  • U-shape - maximum 16 guests
  • Sweetheart Table 
  • Straight - maximum 10 guests 
  • Round - maximum 11 guests 

How do we arrange our menu tasting?

Our team will contact you at least 6 months in advance of your wedding date to schedule your tasting. We will offer you available dates and send you a menu to choose from. You will choose 2 Starters, 2 Soups, 3 Main Courses and 2 Desserts to try at your menu tasting. From this you will choose 1 Starter, 1 Soup, Choice of 2 Main Courses and 1 Dessert as your wedding menu.

Will we taste wine at our menu tasting?

Yes, you will try both our house red and white wine.

Do you cater for dietary requirements and allergies?

Yes, we cater for all dietary requirements.Please ensure guests include any dietary needs when submitting their RSVP to you.

Are petals allowed on the aisle?

Only paper petals are permitted.

Is confetti allowed?

Confetti is not permitted on the hotel grounds.

When must décor/items be collected?

All items must be collected within 24 hours after the wedding.

Do you provide a Post Box?

 

Whilst we don’t supply a postbox, we highly recommend hiring one. You can hire this through many décor companies however we recommend Picabooth .

Do you provide centerpieces ?

Yes, we provide a mix of candelabras and flower pedestals.
